The Vandagyre (VAN-duh-guy-er) is a giant panda/owl-like Neopet that has lived up high mountaintops since Neopia's earliest records, but were discovered in time for Neopets' 15th birthday.
With a reputation for kindness and gracious manners, Vandagyres tend to indulge in quiet activities such as tea parties and gardening, but are quick to step out of their comfort zone if their friends get into trouble.
Vandagyres are 64cm on average, making them medium-sized Neopets.[2]
Vandagyres are not limited edition, meaning they can be created year-round.

Trivia[]
- To make way for the Vandagyre (a standard pet species), the Ruki was made limited edition.
- Its name is a combination of V (the only letter of the alphabet that was left out up until this pet's arrival), panda, and gyrfalcon, the favorite bird of a TNT member.[4]
- Additionally, the pet's day, November 12th, shares the birthday of said TNT member's late father.[5]
- Due to their recent addition, Vandagyres are by far the least created non-limited edition Neopet. As well, there are only a few notable Vandagyres in Neopia.
- As of 2022, there are also no shopkeepers who are Vandagyres.
