The Wikia copyright team has let me know that the takedowns were initiated by another Neopets wiki-type site, and the pages removed contained blatantly copy-and-pasted text. (Which I had not previously noticed)
So a word to all members:
Please do not directly copy and paste content from other fansites, and if you're quoting Neopets directly, be sure to source it! Pages should also not consist entirely of quoted text whether it's from Neopets or anywhere else-- put the information into your own words.
I will recreate the pages with fresh information, but if I see any more pages that are copied word-for-word from other fansites, they will be changed to avoid further issues. Any members that take part in this copyright-infringing behaviour will be warned, and if they continue the behaviour, will be blocked from further editing.
