Treasure Maps are collectible items, as well as a Luck/Chance Game from Neopia Central on Neopets. They can be obtained from random events, user shops, or the Trading Post.
Once you've collected all 9 pieces, you can assemble them to get special prizes.
Site Description[]
"Welcome to the treasure hunt! Hidden around the Neopets site are nine pieces of a map that lead to riches! When you see a part of the map, come to this page and you can see your progress. When the map is completed, you will be able to collect your prize!
Each actual map piece is an item, and this means that it can be stolen, traded, sold, auctioned, disintegrated, and so on... so be very careful!"

How to Tell the Pieces Apart[]
All of the maps have names, but since the individual pieces of each map do not have official names, players have begun to assign each piece a number. The following numbering system is used to identify the 9 different pieces in each of the maps listed above:
1 | 6 | 7 |
2 | 5 | 8 |
3 | 4 | 9 |
As an example, the middle piece of the Spooky Treasure Map is called, "Spooky Treasure Map #5". The piece in the top left corner of the Secret Laboratory Map is called, "Secret Laboratory Map #1". However, if you wish to search for Spooky Treasure Map #5 on the Shop Wizard, you will have to enter "Spooky Treasure Map" into the Wizard and keep clicking "Try Again" until the wizard shows you the price for piece #5.
