Tonus are boisterous, rhino-like Neopets that love running rampant across Tyrannia, even if they knock things over in the process. They also have large appetites but may tend to overeat if they are not careful.[1]
Tonus are 75cm, making them one of the larger Neopets.[2]
The Tonu is limited edition, meaning it can only be created on its special pet day or obtained from a Magical Plushie, Morphing/Mysterious Swirly/Transmogrification Potion, the Limited Edition Charity Corner perk, Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway, Species Change Premium perk, or Lab Ray. Formerly, unlike other limited edition pets, Tonus were available to create every time the Giant Omelette ran out, but no longer occurs since the Create-a-Pet page was updated in 2021.[3][4]
