The Great Neopet Hunt is a retired game that was added to the site on April 28, 2000 (Y2). It was sponsored by Britannica.com; although it is unknown whether the entire game was sponsored by Britannica or if it was just for a period of time.[1]
The Great Neopet Hunt appears to have been an easy way to make Neopoints (albeit not a lot), and has been compared with Kacheek Seek.[2][3]

The New Features description for the Great Neopet Hunt reads:
" Your pet is hiding somewhere on the net and its up to you to find him (or her). "[4]
Gameplay[]
There was another description of the game (calling it Treasure Grid, perhaps in reference to its URL http://www.neopets.com/treasuregrid.phtml) describing it as a "hide and seek" game where players had to click on Neopets' sponsors to find their pets.[2]
