The Styling Studio is a feature in the NC Mall that allows players to change their pets' looks using Pet Styles, which serve as a replacement to unconverted pets.

" Oh, hey! The name’s Umbra. You’ve stumbled into my studio space looking for some different styles of art, huh? Artists don’t work for free around here, so you’ll need to bring me some Styling Studio Supplies or Deluxe Styling Studio Supplies before I can create something for you. "
How it Works[]
At the Styling Studio, Umbra's available styles can be viewed by selecting a certain species from the list. Some styles are always available (though this may give the user at least a 1-in-4 chance of getting their desired style when using regular Styling Studio Supplies), while others will rotate in and out every two or so months.[1]
Pets can be transformed by giving Umbra a set of Styling Studio Supplies and selecting the pet that they want to have a style applied to. Styles can also be changed via the Styling Chamber and given to other players via Gift Boxes, just like any other NC item.

Styling Studio Supplies[]
Regular Styling Studio Supplies (600 NC) will grant the user one random style from the currently available list of styles for a specific pet species.[2]
Deluxe Styling Studio Supplies (1400 NC), on the other hand, will allow the user to choose one specific style from the currently available list of styles for a specific pet species.[3]
- The two different sets of Styling Studio Supplies also come in bundles of 5 (+1) and 10 (+3).
Styling Studio Prismatic Brush[]
A Styling Studio Prismatic Brush (250 NC) will allow the user to recolor one of their Pet Styles into a new Prismatic style, whilst keeping the original style.[4]
- The Styling Studio Prismatic Brush also comes in bundles of 5 (+1), 10 (+3), and 20 (+5).
How to Obtain[]
The separate SSS sets and SSPB (along with the latter's bundles) can bought from the Speciality department of the NC Mall, as well as the Styling Studio (if the user does not have any on hand); however, the SSS 5- and 10-Bundles can only bought from the former.
Alternatively, each of the individual sets and their bundles may be obtained via other players.

History[]
The first set of Styling Studio Supplies (Deluxe) was given out at the beginning of 2024 for users took part in all 25 days of the 2023 Stocking Stufftacular, its description being:
Youve got your hands on it first! Use these supplies at the Styling Studio to transform the look of your Neopet! Note: Hold onto this item! The Styling Studio isnt ready yet, but you will be ready to transform your Neopet once it opens![5]
In mid-January, TNT announced that UCs would be replaced by Pet Styles.[6] Some time later, TNT launched a giveaway on their social media pages that had a chance to win one of three sets of Styling Studio Supplies (for Faerie, Grey, and Darigan Pet Styles, respectively). To enter, users had to comment what was the silhouetted NC UC in question, their favourite UC pet, tag a Neofriend, and make sure they are followed to the relevant social media page.[7][8][9]
To celebrate the Styling Studio's opening on January 23rd, 2024, the regular and Deluxe Styling Studio Supplies (and their respective bundles) were put on sale for half-off until February 21st; when the day came, they were then discounted to 25% off until May 10th (previously February 23rd, 2029, but this may have been an error).[10]
On June 14th, 2024, around when the SSS 10-Bundles were added, the SSS 5-Bundles were updated to give out more of the same type of SSS set instead of giving out 1-3 of the other type as a bonus.
On September 30th, 2024, a new variation of Pet Style called Prismatic, serving as the Styling Studio equivalent to Dyeworks, was released - starting with Faerie.
