Species Change (aka Change Your Pet) is a Premium perk that allows the user to change the species of any of their pets once a year (not accounting for leap years)
How it Works[]
- If the colour of the pet's current species exists for the user's desired species, then that pet's colour will carry over.
- However, if the current pet's colour does not exist for the user's desired species, then the user can pick any colour for the new species.
Trivia[]
- Species Change functions similarly to the Limited Edition Charity Corner perk (but with less glitches).
- Prior to the introduction of Pet Styles in January 2024, users could not change the species of an unconverted pet.
- Prior to August 2024, Species Change could not be used to get a restricted pet.
- This perk was announced in March 2025 to be used to get a Varwolf earlier than the pet's proper intended release in November 2025.
