Sophie is a witch who dwells in the swamps of the Haunted Woods.
Appearance[]
Sophie is a green Ixi with long, wavy, dark green hair. She wears a patched brown witch's hat, a white smock, a brown bodice, brown fingerless gloves, a belt with pouches attached, and an olive skirt.
History[]
Sophie was born in the town of Neovia, the only daughter of Edmund and Alice and little sister to Bruno and Reginald. One day her older brother Bruno encountered a mysterious Krawk called Mr. Krawley, who offered him a Hissi Oil potion that he stated would grant his deepest desires. Initially it seemed to work, as he and his family encouraged the other townspeople to take it as well, but it soon began to reveal its darker effects, turning them into grotesque monsters. Sophie was the only resident who did not drink any because, as an innocent child, she had no cares or worries to give her reason to.
Needing someone to blame, the Krawk being long gone, the townspeople turned on Sophie's family. For her own safety, Sophie was taken by Ilere to a shack deep within the Haunted Woods. There, she presented with everything she would need to become a witch. Considering that Sophie was a little girl ten years prior to Gilly hearing of the Tale of Woe, she is presumably in her late teens or early twenties now. With help from Gilly and Bruno, Sophie helped to cure Neovia's curse. Bruno was the only on unaffected by her antidote, though, due to having been stuck in this form for too long. Fortunately, he accepted his fate gracefully and returned to live in the town with his family (except for Sophie, who went back to her shack).
Personality[]
She lives alone by choice as she prefers solitude, but she does keep in touch with her family and have a Petpet Meowclops for a little company. While she can be grouchy and quick to lash out at anyone who dares bother her, deep down she has a good heart. Her specialty is potion making.
