Ruki

Rukis (roo-kee) are ant-like Neopets that inhabit the Lost Desert. Their tough outer armour keeps them protected from the blazing sun, enabling them to travel great distances.

Rukis are 59cm on average, making them medium-sized Neopets.^[1]

The Ruki is limited edition, meaning it can only be created on its special pet day or obtained from a Magical Plushie, Morphing/Mysterious Swirly/Transmogrification Potion, the Limited Edition Charity Corner perk, Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway, Species Change Premium perk, or Lab Ray. The pet was made limited edition after the Vandagyre was officially released.

The base design Ruki barely changed from its introduction to the 2007 conversion period. Notably, however, its talons were made less pointy to look more like hands; the pet's pose was also adjusted to make its legs look less cluttered.^[3]
