Petpet Lab Ray

The Petpet Lab Ray is a secret daily that is owned by the Lab Ray Scientist's Petpet, Kooky.

Users must complete the Secret Laboratory Map before accessing the Petpet Lab Ray.

Map

Unlike its regular counterpart, the Petpet Lab Ray Map is unusually cheap, costing anywhere between 500-2,000 NP on the Shop Wizard. This is due to being so common from Random Events.

Effects

• Nothing
• Colour/species change (including turning into a Pile of Soot)
• Name change
• Level increase/decrease
• Disintegrate the Petpet (along with its attached Petpetpet), permanently removing it from its owner.

Restrictions

• Since the Petpet Protection League (PPL) discourages against the use of the Petpet Lab Ray, zapped Petpets will be disqualified from winning a PPL award.
• Zapped Petpets cannot be painted.
• Zapped Krawk Petpets cannot turn into Neopets, since biologically, they are not true Krawks.
• Once a Zapped Petpet is removed from its owner, it will revert back to its original form.
  • This also means that Lab Rats are technically no trade.
