Neohome

Neohomes were a customization tool that could allow users to build and furnish their own virtual home.

There were two version of Neohomes: Classic Neohomes and Neohomes 2.0.

First released in 2001, Classic Neohomes were made via a building permit. Every room, garden and extension costed Neopoints.

Neohomes 2.0[]

In 2007, Neohomes 2.0 were added to Neopets. Here, homes were free to create, there was no need to build rooms or add extensions, and users could freely furnish and decorate their Neohomes. The user's Neopets and Petpets could also be seen here.

Note: Only items marked with a house icon can be placed in the user's Storage Shed and therefore be placed in their Neohome.

Retirement[]

Classic Neohomes and Neohomes 2.0 were effectively no longer available with Flash's retirement in January 2021.

In 2020, TNT Scrappy formally desired to introduce "Neohomes 3.0" to replace both Classic and 2.0 Neohomes, but as of September 2023, TNT opted to incorporate aspects of Neohomes in World of Neopets instead.
