Maraquan

Maraquan is the adjective for things related to Maraqua, and is also a colour for Neopets and Petpets.

Once painted Maraquan, these pets will become aquatic, sometimes even to the point where they resemble real-life or mythical sea creatures.

How to Obtain[]

To get a Maraquan pet, the player will need a Maraquan Paint Brush, Morphing Potion, access to the Lab Ray, Species Change Premium perk, Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway, or Rainbow Fountain. Players may also be able to adopt one, trade for one, or apply a Nostalgic Maraquan token (either from the Styling Studio or other players) to one of their pets for a different look.

To get an Maraquan Petpet, the player will need a Maraquan Petpet Paint Brush or access to the Petpet Lab Ray. Players may also be able to get one via the Marketplace, Auction House, or Trading Post.

Customisation[]

With the exception of background items, foreground items, trinkets, and some Maraquan-specific NC Mall items, Maraquan pets cannot wear regular clothing.
