Unhaunt houses and banish ghouls!
Mix and match ghouls and ghosts in this brand new puzzle game from the creators of Neopets! Brave Bren, the Professor, and Glyn need your help- phantoms and ghouls have escaped from the Haunted Woods and taken over the world. Join this professional team of Ghoulcatchers on their quest to make the world safe again!
You'll need to make matches of three or more to banish the scariest of spirits and unhaunt these houses. Combine four or more ghouls to create special tiles or use game-changing power-ups to clear the board! Puzzle games don't get more exciting than this!
Completing levels earns the player Neopoints and prizes on their Neopets account.

On May 20, 2020, Neopets announced that Ghoul Catchers and Legends & Letters were being discontinued:
BREAKING NEWS: To make way for some of our new, exciting products coming to stores soon, we have decided to retire Ghoul Catchers and Legends and Letters from the app store. If you already have the apps, you can continue to play them even after they are removed from the store. So, if you do not have the apps and want to play, be sure to download them as soon as you can!
The prizes from Ghoul Catchers are assumed effectively retired (unless you already have the app downloaded and wish to play to the prize milestones).
On July 15, 2020, Neopets sent out an informative email stating that the servers were not being shut down until the end of the year:
Firstly, we'd like to thank you for playing and supporting Ghoul Catchers over the past few years. We hope you've enjoyed playing the game! We're writing to let you know that on July 22, 2020, the Ghoul Catchers mobile game will be removed from the Google Play and iOS app stores. If you have the app on your device after that date, you'll be able to continue playing Ghoul Catchers until December 31, 2020. As a thank you for playing the game, we'll be sending an exclusive Ghoul Catchers themed item to your Neopets.com account in the future, so keep an eye on your inbox! For more information on this transition, please read the FAQ section below.
Q: Can I still play the game?
A: If you still have the app on your device after July 22, you'll be able to continue playing through game levels and earning rewards until the end of the year.
Q: Can I still earn site rewards?
A: You'll be able to continue earning site rewards on Neopets.com from playing Ghoul Catchers until December 31, 2020.
Q: Can I still get technical support for the game?
A: Support for Ghoul Catchers will end on July 22. After that date, bug fixes and technical support will no longer be provided for the game.
Q: How long will the game be playable?
A: On December 31, 2020, Ghoul Catchers will be shutting down permanently and you will no longer be able to play.
