The Games Room is an attraction in Roo Island where players can play various games to get Neopoints. There are hundreds of games available to play, with the majority allowing players to send scores up to three times per day with a maximum of 1,000 Neopoints per score sent.
Every day, there is a featured game that will grant players double the Neopoints once they send score. Occasionally, the max number of send scores would be increased to five (or possibly ten) for a special treat.
NC Items[]
The Featured Game Ticket allows the user to change the Featured Game for one day. When left unused, the item will remain in the user's inventory for 180 days (6 months).
The Games Fortune Cookie grants the user with a day of x2/x3 Neopoints earned from classic Games Room games.
End of Flash Support[]
In early 2021, Adobe Flash was discontinued, effectively making a good chunk of the games available in the Games Room (without the use of certain applications such as Pale Moon) unplayable. A few games (The Last Blast, Shenkuu River Rush, Terror Mountain Tilt) required the 3Dvia (or 3D Life Player) plugin, while some games (ex. Attack of the Slorgs, Castle Battles, Dice Escape, Frumball, Gourmet Club Bowls, Hannah and the Pirate Caves, and The Last Smiley) required the Adobe Shockwave plugin, both of which had been long discontinued before Flash. Running these games on said applications usually doesn't work unless it's on an in-program machine running older versions of an operating system (which is not recommended for security reasons).
Ever since Neopets was acquired by World of Neopia, Inc. in July 2023, the Neopets Team have been working hard to convert dozens of Neopets' classic games via Ruffle. In 2021 and 2023 respectively, they made two separate sections of the Games Room: the "Modern" (where the games that don't require Ruffle go) and "Classic" Games Room (which requires Ruffle to play certain games).
Popular games to play as 'Dailies'[]
Dailies are essentially activities dedicated Neopians do every day. Certain games are popular choices as dailies because they may be good way to earn lots of Neopoints. These are chosen for being quick to play, easy to play and giving you a high number of Neopoints when you send a score. Everyone has a different list of Games they have as dailies (and they may change every month as the ratio between points scored and Neopoints earned often changes) but here are some of the more popular ones:
- Catch the Petpet
- Destruct-O-Match III
- Fashion Fever
- Gormball
- Hasee Bounce
- Kass Basher (Hard)
