Galem Darkhand was in charge of many thieves and lead the attack on the Ice Caves. Despite being the leader, two individuals wanted him dead: his lover Masila and one of the thieves, Kanrik. Their assassination attempt on his life failed and ended up with Galem gaining a short alliance with the Bringer Of The Night , who also betrayed Galem in the end. Galem fought Kanrik in the Ice Caves and was defeated and presumably killed.
