Bruces (brooce) are penguin-like Neopets that hail from Terror Mountain. They love playing snow and ice-related games but are also very competitive.
Bruces are 80cm (2.62ft) on average, making them one of the medium sized Neopets.[1]
Bruces are not limited edition, meaning they can be created year-round.

Previous Versions[]
The Bruce's name and appearance was modeled after the late English TV personality Bruce Forsyth, with the first iteration using a tinted photograph and the second using a caricature of him. (Due to legal reasons, the pet's name, "Bruce-Forsyth", was shortened to just "Bruce".) The Bruce was changed to a penguin on November 16th, 2000, much like how the Kau was changed from a likeness of Macy Gray to a cow.
In its final design, the Bruce was slimmed down from its previous iteration and looked more friendly. The Bruce-Forsyth's bow tie was also changed into a big, present bow.[3]

- The unconverted Ice Bruce was drawn to resemble a Strawberry Brucicle, while the converted version looks more like a generic ice cream Bruce instead.[4]
