Krawks (krork) are crocodile-like Neopets native to Krawk Island. As a general rule, these pets are very loyal to their owners, but also tend to get into all sorts of mischief in spite of it. While Krawks can eat almost anything, they favour the fungus that grows in their island's Fungus Cave.

Krawks are 67cm (2.20ft) on average, making them one of the medium sized Neopets.[1]

Krawks are restricted Neopets, so they cannot be created via normal means (nor the Species Change Premium perk or Lab Ray), giving them the Wooden Spoon Award for least created Neopet ever. The reason for this is that while the Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway, Magical Plushies, and Morphing/Transmogrification Potions can turn other pets into Krawks, these Neopets naturally evolve from the super-rare Tyrannian Petpet of the same name when taken to the Fungus Cave on Krawk Island. They retain the same colour they had when they were Petpets.

Site description: "Found on the fabled shores of Krawk Island, the scaly Krawks proudly showcase their unique head crests. Krawks are super loyal but have a knack for getting themselves into all sorts of mischief. While they're not overly hostile, better watch out for those razor-sharp teeth—they mean business!"[2]

Previous Versions[]

Krawks have remained more or less the same throughout the years of Neopets, but their nubs with puny claws that they had originally were changed into proper arms with clawed hands following conversion.[3]

Trivia[]

  • Zapped Krawk Petpets cannot turn into Neopets, since biologically, they are not true Krawks.
    • Darigan, Ghost, and Robot Krawk Petpets do not count either, due being so different from their mature counterparts.
