Dice-A-Roo is a Luck/Chance game from Roo Island on Neopets. It costs 5 NP per game.

Site Description[]

" Do you fancy a game of chance? If so, then Dice-A-Roo should be right up your alley! Dice-A-Roo (which is King Roo's favourite game) is Snake-Eyes, Neopets style. Roll the dice to increase your winnings, but beware! You can lose at any time. Also, keep on the look-out for the random items and massive Dice-A-Roo Jackpot! "

Gameplay[]

The game of Dice-A-Roo is centered around rolling a die, which comes in different colours/levels in order from red to blue to green to yellow to silver.

The different sides of each die have different effects:

  • Checkmark: The player has some Neopoints added to their prize pot.
  • X: The player has some Neopoints removed from their prize pot.
  • Play symbol: A 50/50 chance of the player moving on to the next die.
  • Circle: Nothing happens.
  • Gift: The player wins a random item. (This can only happen on the green die and onward.)
  • Question mark: If gotten on the red, blue, and green dice, nothing happens. If gotten on the yellow and silver dice, the player either gets Neopoints removed from their prize pot, gains stats for their pet, or gets robbed of a random on-hand item by the Pant Devil.
  • Skull and crossbones: A 50/50 chance of the player losing all the Neopoints from their prize pot, as well as the game altogether.
  • Neopoints: The player wins the Jackpot! (This can only happen on the silver die.)

A game of Dice-A-Roo can end in three ways:

  1. the player decides to stop and take their winnings,
  2. they roll the dreaded skull and crossbones and lose, or
  3. they get to the silver die and roll the jackpot!
