Death is a spirit who appeared at the conclusion of the war over the Tyrannian Obelisk as the embodiment of The Awakened's worst fears, summoned by The Oracle. He is the little brother of Lanie and Lillie, and is at odds with his sisters because he would rather the dead stay dead while they want them to rise from their graves.
Appearance[]
Death is cherubic in appearance. He is a winged blue baby Ixi spirit wearing a diaper and holding a bow and arrow, which he uses in a manner similar to the Grim Reaper's scythe. However, his targets aren't living Neopets, but members of the undead he wants to return to their graves.

Though most of the other spirits appearing to the factions were apparently only manifestations of what they were afraid of, Death actually was recognised by Lanie and Lillie as their younger sibling. They were terrified of him and ran to hide before he saw them. This would imply that Death is a real supernatural being in Neopia who threatens the immortality of the undead, whilst Lanie and Lillie are his antithesis, encouraging their zombie and ghost friends to come back and party.

- Death is presumably the baby brother of Lanie and Lillie mentioned by Wilberforce in his Neovian Neighbourhood Watch reports. At the time, the three siblings were mortal Neopets living with their mother near Wilberforce, who was alarmed by Lanie and Lillie's creepy behaviour and set out to document it. He hoped that their brother wouldn't turn out as horrible as them and at one point observed that the baby looked disturbed by the actions of his sisters.[1]
