Techo Color Popularity Poll 2025 results
On December 16th, 2024, I opened the Techo Color Popularity Poll 2024 to account for the 9 new Techo colors added to the Neopets canon over the past year, in addition to Patchwork Techo from Neopets: Island Builders, who was exclusive to that build of the game in order to round the total to an even 80 candidates for voting. This new poll recieved 212 responses, plus 72 make-up responses for me Chirstmas Techo in the original poll (I'll get to that later). This was a sequel to the 2023 Techo Popularity Poll.

So I got an idea of what this year's april fool's prank may be!
So it's gonna be a new neopets website, but only Neopia Central, Neopia Plaza, and Neopian Bazaar will exist, along with a few neggs, but no morphing potions and the only unique paintbrushes are pink, starry, and silver (no petpets either) And each pet will be redesigned.
Acaras will have even longer horns and have anime eyes

The state of Items on this wiki
So, as of right now, very few items are actually listed on this wiki. Some of them have full pages while others are only mentioned in passing on other top level pages (like wearables).
I feel that there are 2 potential ways we could proceed with adding more items to the site:
1. Every item gets it own page
These pages will be very short, often constituting stubs by Fandom's categorization method. Due to the sheer amount of items neopets has, this would add thousands (if not tens of thousands) of unique pages to the wiki if we were to list every single item on Neopets. You would be able to navigate items by type through actual categories, making it easy to set items as multiple categories at once without duplicating info so we could have not j…

The Wikia copyright team has let me know that the takedowns were initiated by another Neopets wiki-type site, and the pages removed contained blatantly copy-and-pasted text. (Which I had not previously noticed)
So a word to all members:

Deleted Pages and Template Reminder
Hello Neopians! I haven't been here for a while, but I just noticed the deleted pages. Please DO NOT restore them; the person who took them down is Wikia staff and claims there are copyright issues with them. Restoring anything that was part of a DMCA takedown would be like trying to singlehandedly fight the United States's weird copyright laws through civil disobediance. And I don't think anyone wants to jump right into that!
I'm not sure why the pages were targeted, but I've contacted TNT and the Wikia copyright staff. Colour vs. Style
I see all over this wiki that "style" is used in place of the term "colour". It should not be.
In Neopia, the term for different variations of a species is "colour". In my decade of playing, I have never seen anyone so flippantly use style in place of colour as much as here. Style is only ever used if you're typing up something long and don't want to continuously repeat the word colour, since it gets way too annoying after a while. Style should not be your go-to word, and it is not used by TNT when describing pet variations apart from occasionally on the new features page in the form of "these pets have been sporting a new style" or whatnot.
I plan to edit any colour article to get rid of the term style and move everything over to a new category.…

Trying to standardize pages
Hello everyone, I am sort of new (joined wikia since one month only) and is still figuring how to use the codes. I find that the pages are quite messy just as the description on this page says(like there are two omelette pages in this wiki: Giant Omelette and Omelette). I am currently trying to standardize pages about paint brushes, but I am not sure if I should use templates. (Basically I'm just copying the info box in the weewoo page and applying it to other pages.)
If anyone of you find that it is appropriate, feel free to undo the page and drop a message here so that I will not repeat the mistake.

Removal of HQA, MQA, and LQA templates.
We should remove these templates, especially the HQA template, because a wiki page can always be improved. They are also an eyesore to see on pages, and there is no way to determine if an article is HQA, MQA, or LQA. Aside from the fact that barely any wiki uses them, they really serve no purpose.

(I'm pretty much) gone for good
This time there's little to no chance of me coming back :/ My faithful 7 year old desktop took it's last "breath" on Friday, when the elitrical belt tore. There's no identification of its brand, especially since it's a "Fry's quality systems" computer from '05. Besides, it was 2.0ghz and had an ancient integrated video card. It's better for me to wait for a new computer (and since I'm 14 and legally cant work, god knows when THAT will happen :/ ).

Off wiki for 4 -6 Months
Well, if you probably didn't know. I was homeschooled for three years. Because of this I was given a computer. This allowed me to do my Schoolwork AND edit as much as I wanted to! Now I'm leaving Homeschool and I turned the computer back in.
There's no sign of me getting another computer for awhile.
