The Beauty Contest is a contest that is launched every Friday on Neopets. The objective of this contest is to draw your Neopet (to the best of your abilities; the image must also be a .gif or .jpeg), write an 8-line (or less) speech about them, and enter it under their species. Once it gets approved, your drawing will be displayed for other players to vote on.
Rules[]
- All contestants must submit their own work and it must be Neopets-related.
- You may not sell your artwork for Neopoints or any other form of compensation.
- Buying votes with offers of free items is not allowed, as it is unfair to those that don't have items to give away!
- If your entry is disallowed, you will receive a Neomail from contest_judge and can enter again after the problem has been taken care of.
- If you win first place, your entry in the upcoming contest will be deleted to give someone else a chance.
Prizes[]
Ever since April 2008, when side accounts were first allowed to participate in the contest, Neopoint and item prizes no longer be won from the Beauty Contest. At present, the only prize(s) for winning is a trophy for your pet's lookup if they make it first, second or third place (be it overall or within pet species), and an avatar for first-time winners.
