A Kougra being zapped into 8-Bit
8-Bit is an arcade-esque colour for Neopets and Petpets.
8-Bit pets appear rather simplistic, being made up of large pixel blocks.
How to Obtain[]
To get an 8-Bit Neopet, the player will need either an 8-bit Power-Up Potion (which is obtainable from events such as the Altador Cup or Advent Calendar, or from other users) or access to the Secret Lab Ray, Species Change Premium perk, or Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway.
8-Bit Petpets are only available from the Petpet Lab Ray.
Customisation[]
Some 8-Bit pets come with removable clothing as part of their colour, but (like Baby, Maraquan and Mutant pets) regular clothing (most notably the 8-Bit Staff) cannot be used on them, with the exception of background items, foreground items, 8-Bit clothing (some being sold at Ugga Shinies), and trinkets.
