"Brains" Mortigan is apart of the Haunted Woods Team in the Altador Cup. He has been participating from 2010 to the current year.

This undead Yooyuball player was brought in to replace Autrey Fulse during the fifth Altador Cup. Playing as a defender, Mortigan is strong, but lacks speed. He is a penpal of Derlyn Fonnet from Team Kreludor, who describes him as witty. The rest of the Haunted Woods team tell him the Yooyu is a tasty brain before play to encourage him. He is also a member of The Awakened.

It was revealed during 2011 that Fonnet and Mortigan are penpals or "penfriends" as the Haunted Woods Team press stated. It's unknown what exactly they talk about. Not even their teammates really know what they talk about in their letters. Derlyn Fonnet stated in their press release "Will everyone just stay out of my private life? I can chat to a zombie if I wanna." Krell Vitor stated, ""I have no idea what Brains and Derlyn have been discussing. I didn't even know the zombie could WRITE!
